FOR THE HOMEMADE PUFF PASTRY
2 cups All-purpose flour
1 Tbs. granulated sugar
1 tsp. Salt
1 cup of unsalted butter(cold, cut into ΒΌ-inch cubes)
6 tbs. ice water
1 tsp. Lemon juice
FOR THE APPLE FILLING
4 Granny Smith apples(about 1 pound, peeled)
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1/4 cup of brown sugar light or dark is fine
2 tsp. Lemon juice
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. cornstarch
Caramel sauce
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
Bring brown sugar, butter, and milk to a gentle boil and cook until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla extract.
Make sure to do a egg wash on pastry before baking use parchment paper bake for 350 25-30 minutes till golden brown
