Simple Panko Crusted Cod


These Flaky delicious fish sticks are the perfect Family Night Dinner.

Enjoyed by A Toddler – Elementary age – and Adults; one Dinner for everyone that makes the Cook very happy.

Simply made, healthy and quick.
Ingredients
2 lbs. of cod ( I cut them into bite size sticks)
1 1/2 cups of Panko
1/2 cup of All purpose flour
2 eggs beaten
1/2 Tsp. Onion powder
1/2 Tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Italian dried seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 tsp. Of McCormicks Chicken Fish Seasoning
Cooking spray
1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper optional

Preheat the oven to 400
Season your fish with the salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic. ( be sure to pat dry your fish before seasoning )

Add the McCormick seasoning to your flour and mix
Add the Italian dry seasoning to your Panko and mix.
This creates layers of flavor
Add a pinch of salt and pepper to egg wash.
Dip fish in Flour, then egg wash last the Panko ( place on a greased baking sheet )
Repeat till all your fish is coated.

Bake at 400 for 16 minutes flipping half way so each side gets 8 minutes or until golden brown.

I made a Ketchup Sriracha for the adults
1/3 cup of ketchup to 1-2 Tbs. Of sriracha add more if you like it spicy.

Boiled some Shelled edamame and dinner was done.
