Simple Cake Donuts

Baked Cake Donuts

Serves: 12

½ Cup of butter 1 stick unsalted room temperature
2 ½ cups Of All Purpose flour
1 ½ Tsp. Baking powder
¼ tsp Baking soda
⅛ Tsp. Fresh nutmeg
¾ Tsp. Salt
½ cups Granulated sugar
¼ cups Of light brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 Cup of whole milk

1. Preheat oven to 425, bake using a donut pan. After the mixture is made pipe into a pipping bag or snip a 1 1/2 inch hole in resealable plastic bag.

Start pipping the donut mixture, when finished bang pan lightly to release any air bubbles.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, ovens may vary so check after 8 minutes and see if the top of the donuts spring back. That will give indication they are ready.

Allow to cool and decorate, I used melting chocolate and sprinkles.
